I am in the Graphic Design and Photography programs at DMACC at the Ankeny Campus. I am a pilot by trade and was flying for a company out of the Des Moines area. I knew they were selling their plane and needed a career to fall back on. I have always enjoyed photography and graphic design. I started taking classes at DMACC a couple years ago and have really enjoyed myself. The instructors have been so helpful and kind. I am about 3/4th the way done with both degrees, when I received a call this past summer to see if I wanted to be the chief pilot for a company in the Turks and Caicos. I jumped on the opportunity. I was able to find two photography classes that I could take remotely, while in Turks and Caicos. I am planning on continuing to get my two degrees from DMACC once I get back.
